Long Beach Island is 18 miles of beautiful jersey shore coast. It's beaches are easily accessible, well staffed with lifeguards, and are a full display of ocean wildlife. LBI is home to a variety of amusements and restaurants giving it's attractive blend of mother nature and entertainment. Every year, LBI is a temporary home to those that take advantage of the lovely rental homes available.  The area is accomodating to vacationers. Bike rentals, ice cream parlors, and golf courses are just a few of the fun venues within walking distance of bayside and oceanside properties. Long Beach Blvd., "the blvd.", is the main avenue of the island. It runs north to south and connects all side streats from the ocean to the bay. Because of the central design of LBI, travel is easy. Pedestrians and bike riders are encouraged to stroll the blvd. and visit the many shops and attractions LBI has to offer.
